The difference between a good Bladesmith and a great Bladesmith is the details.

I can tell how good of a Bladesmith someone it, when I see their workbench, and find out how much magnification their magnifying glass is. The higher the number, the better the maker.

I can tell how good of a Bladesmith someone it, when I see their finishing room, and note that they have dental tools, and q-tips to work with.

I can tell how good of a Bladesmith someone is, when I see their efforts to get right, the 99% of the work that is bladesmithing. And that work is the details.  The details matter people.

Because perfection matters, and luxury is personal.
